Young Brett has chosen his favorite song: "American Boy" by Estelle featuring Kanye West. Don't worry we are not encouraging the whole hip hop thing but a little Kanye and Jay Z here and there never hurt anyone. We will make sure we order the non explicit lyric version of these songs this weekend. We have not introduced Brett to the Best Band Ever Guns "N" Roses. Maybe in a few months he will be ready for a little "Paradise City." I will have to explain to Young Brett how GNR really changed a generation of young adults.....back to the original reason for this posting. Brett loves "American Boy." Once the song comes on his face lights up. We play the song several times a night and it really has become an event at our house. Usually one of his parents does the running man while the other parent dances with him. The dogs get into it too. Barkley usually howls while Yogi follows us around the house trying to figure out what is going on.
